Overview

Lutron is seeking a passionate and strategic Manager for our Product Management team out of our World Headquarters in Coopersburg, PA to lead the growth and expansion of our Luxury Lighting category. This role will be responsible for developing product positioning and launch strategy, driving roadmap execution, and delivering differentiated solutions for discerning clients in the luxury residential business. You will work across functions—including engineering, marketing, sales, and supply chain—to ensure Lutron continues to lead in design, performance, and control integration across the luxury lighting market. 

 

 



Responsibilities

  • Own and grow the luxury lighting product portfolio ensuring market-leading performance, aesthetics, and integration with control systems. 

  • Develop product roadmap based on market research, customer insights, competitive analysis, and internal business goals. 

  • Collaborate with sales and channel partners (e.g., custom integrators, lighting designers, architects) to understand needs and drive adoption. 

  • Partner with Engineering and Design to guide product development from concept through launch, with attention to quality, reliability, and architectural excellence. 

  • Establish and track KPIs for category performance including revenue, margin, adoption, and attach rates to controls and shades. 

  • Champion cross-functional execution, including lifecycle planning, marketing messaging, pricing strategy, and operations/supply readiness. 

  • Serve as the internal expert and evangelist for luxury lighting, providing thought leadership and communicating vision to senior leadership. 

  • Drive competitive positioning and differentiation, including integration with Lutron’s broader ecosystem of controls, shading, and automation. 



Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree required; technical or design-related discipline preferred (Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Design, etc.). MBA or advanced degree a plus. 

  • 5+ years of product management experience; 2+ years in a leadership or team lead capacity. 

  • Experience in luxury products, lighting, architecture, or smart home technology strongly preferred. 

  • Proven track record of launching and growing product lines in premium or design-focused categories. 

  • Strong customer orientation with ability to balance qualitative feedback and quantitative data. 

  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across technical and commercial functions. 

  • Strategic thinker with operational discipline and attention to detail. 

  • Willingness to travel (up to 20%) to customer sites, industry events, and manufacturing locations.
