The schedule would be a minimum of twenty hours per week. Hours may vary but are flexible, ideally support is needed from M-F 8AM - 6PM. Pay is $22.00 per hour. Co-ops are eligible to participate in our student program for tuition assistance. They may also opt to participate in Samtec's 401k plan.
Summary/Objective:Samtec is seeking an Engineering Co-op to work and train as a Radio Frequency Integrated Circuit Engineer. You will be working on the design, development, and testing of Microwave/RF/Mixed-signal circuit blocks like LNA, PA, VGA, VCO, PLL, ADC, DAC, CDR and supporting circuits like bandgap voltage reference, op amps, and feedback circuits. Working with a team of experienced Samtec RFIC engineers you will design custom RFICs using SiGe and RF-CMOS semiconductor processes. You will use simulation, layout, and verification tools to design the circuits and after fabrication have the opportunity to work in the lab to test, characterize and validate your designs.
