Responsibilities

The Hexagon North America Bids and Proposals Team supports multiple business units and their lines of business for both potential and existing customers. The Proposal Pricing Analyst will report to the BPC Add-on Team Manager and will be responsible for the preparation and submission of proposal response documents, both financial and written.

The successful candidate will participate in the overall proposal development process to gather information as needed from resources in multiple departments, including immediate proposal team members, the Program Management Office (PMO), the Global Product Center (GPC), local business unit development, technical resources, the sales team, industry consultants, and business unit and corporate senior management, to research, learn and use the information to provide a thoroughly compliant response.

The successful candidate will be an essential member of the Bids and Proposals Team assisting in all aspects of the response and follow corporate review and approval processes.

Responsibilities:

  • Review solicitation requests and customer requirements to ensure the written and cost response meets the customers expectations
  • Establish internal timelines and proposal deliverables based on the request reviews and ensure adherence to the timelines throughout the proposal development process
  • Provide regular status updates on the progress, needs and assignments of proposal activity.
  • Provide support for multiple opportunities, prioritize assignments and complete tasks within firm deadlines and in a collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of the company offered software and services solutions, pricing structure, licensing model, documented company and team policies and processes

Education / Qualifications

  • Familiarity with the written and financial structure of formal proposal request documents (i.e., Request for Proposal (RFP), Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM), Request for Information (RFI), Time and Materials (T&M), Project Change Requests, and/or Statements of Work (SOW) is recommended for this position.
  • Should possess strong delegation and time management skills, and the ability to coordinate numerous and simultaneous assignments and deadlines
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, both verbal & written
  • Ability to work with multiple resources across many departments and geographic locations
  • Ability to self-manage and prioritize your responsibilities, and work remotely as needed, to meet submission due dates
  • Strong technical, financial, and analytical skills are essential to success in this role
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proactive analytical problem solving and evaluation skills
  • Attention to detail, discipline to review both your own work and willing to request and to participate in peer reviews
  • Comfortable working with new software tools. Microsoft applications, for example TEAMS, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills required; experience with Salesforce.com a plus
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent college program diploma in finance, business, communications, contract management, technical writing, or English is preferred
  • Pricing, project accounting, financial analysis, project management or contract administration experience is a plus
