A3 Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled DevSecOps Engineer to support the infrastructure and deployment pipeline for a critical DoD Insider Threat application. This position will build, manage, and secure the CI/CD process for a line of development for a custom application built on the ServiceNow Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS) platform and be the hands-on leader for the application's infrastructure, security, and deployment automation. If you are a seasoned engineer who understands how to apply modern DevSecOps principles to the unique architecture of the ServiceNow platform, this role is for you.
In this job you will:
Design, build, and maintain the end-to-end CI/CD pipeline specifically for deploying custom ServiceNow applications (scoped apps, update sets) across multiple environments.
Automate the testing, validation, and deployment of ServiceNow configurations, integrating tools like the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) into the pipeline.
Manage the underlying cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles with tools like Terraform and Ansible to ensure consistent and repeatable environments.
Integrate security scanning and vulnerability management tools (e.g., SonarQube, DISA STIGs) directly into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure all deployments are secure by design.
Install, configure, and maintain critical infrastructure components, including ServiceNow Mid-Servers, within secure DoD networks to enable seamless data integrations.
Act as the SME for the system's cloud environment, managing virtual machines, network configurations, and security groups while ensuring compliance with the DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF).
Implement robust monitoring and logging solutions to ensure the health, performance, and security of the ServiceNow application and its supporting infrastructure.
Collaborate closely with developers and security teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize performance, and streamline the entire development-to-deployment lifecycle.
Qualifications for the role:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
Must meet DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II requirements (e.g., Security+ CE).
7+ years of experience in a Systems Engineering, DevOps, or DevSecOps role within a DoD environment.
Direct, hands-on experience designing and managing a CI/CD pipeline for custom ServiceNow applications.
Proven experience working with ServiceNow Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS) in a government cloud environment (GovCloud, C2S, JWCC).
Demonstrated proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
Expertise with CI/CD and security tools (GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube).
