Position Summary

This is an ONSITE position located in Washington, D.C.

ACTIVE TOP SECRET CLEARANCE REQUIRED.

NCC is seeking candidates for a Senior Unified Communications Engineer to provide direct technical direction and analysis for telecommunication activities including planning, designing, configuring, integrating, installing, and maintaining voice, video, and data telecommunications/communications networks and services with computer systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide technical/management leadership on technology assignments
  • Establish goals and plans that meet project objectives
  • Provide strategic and technical guidance to program and project staff
  • Analyze network performance, usage, and traffic flows, accesses and interfaces, transmission techniques, and protocols
  • Provide detailed analysis, evaluation, and recommendations for improvements, optimization development and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
  • Partner with client to define need and lead surveys to collect and analyze data to recommend solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements

  • Active Top Secret security clearance REQUIRED, and willingness to obtain a TS/SCI CI Polygraph.
  • BA/BS in related field with 10+ years of Unified Communications experience.
  • Proven decision making abilities
  • Expert knowledge of telecommunication systems, networks, etc.
  • Demonstrated strict attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate with all levels of the organization
  • Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal skills, and communication skills
  • Effective delegation skills
