A3 Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly technical and collaborative Systems Integration Engineer to join our team on a critical DoD Insider Threat program. This position will architect and build the critical data pipelines connecting a custom ServiceNow application with a wide array of DoD enterprise systems and be the hands-on expert responsible for ensuring a seamless, secure, and reliable flow of data that is the lifeblood of our application, directly enabling the Insider Threat mission. In this job you will:
Design and document end-to-end integration solutions that connect external DoD data sources (e.g., DISS, DEERS, DCII) to our ServiceNow PSDS application.
Author and maintain clear Interface Control Documents (ICDs), defining data contracts, API specifications, and transformation logic for each integration point.
Collaborate with Solution Architects and external system owners to establish secure and efficient integration patterns that meet DoD security and performance standards.
Be the hands-on expert for building all integrations, primarily using ServiceNow Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs, and custom scripts (JavaScript, Python).
Develop robust data transformation logic to map, cleanse, and load data from various sources into the ServiceNow application's data model.
Configure and manage ServiceNow Mid-Servers within secure DoD networks to facilitate communication between the cloud platform and on-premise data sources.
Lead the end-to-end testing of all data integrations, from initial connectivity checks to full data validation, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
Act as the primary technical point of contact for diagnosing and resolving complex integration issues, including API errors, data discrepancies, and network connectivity challenges.
Qualifications for the role:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
5+ years of dedicated experience in a Systems Integration, Data Engineering, or similar role.
Direct, hands-on experience building complex integrations into the ServiceNow platform, including expert-level knowledge of Integration Hub, Scripted REST APIs, and Import Sets/Transform Maps.
Proven experience working with ServiceNow Public Sector Digital Services (PSDS).
Expert-level proficiency with REST/SOAP APIs and using testing tools like Postman to validate and troubleshoot endpoints.
Proven experience integrating with DoD enterprise systems and navigating their unique technical and security requirements.
Strong scripting skills in JavaScript (within ServiceNow) and/or Python.
Experience working on multi-domain DoD networks (NIPR, SIPR).
Familiarity with the Insider Threat mission space.

Salary range:
The salary range of this position is $165,000 - $190,000 commensurate with experience and achievement.
