About the Position 

Were seeking a Sr. Maximo Business Analyst to support large, heavy-civil infrastructure programsincluding highways, roads, bridges, transit (including rail and bus), and airport projects delivered through both traditional and alternative methods. Your primary focus will be to serve as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure the effective optimization of IBM Maximo. You will analyze asset management processes, configure Maximo modules, and support data integration, reporting, and compliance efforts. This role requires a strong understanding of enterprise asset management as it relates to rail transit infrastructure, communications, and signaling.

This is a long-term, full-time, on-site position located in the greater Washington DC metro area.  

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following: 

  • Analyze business processes and requirements to identify opportunities for improvement using IBM Maximo. 
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. 
  • Design, configure, and implement Maximo solutions to meet business needs. 
  • Conduct system testing and validation to ensure optimal performance and functionality. 
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective utilization of Maximo. 
  • Develop and maintain documentation, including user guides, process flows, and system specifications. 
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues, providing timely resolutions. 
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to ensure continuous improvement. Insert responsibility here.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelors degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • 8+ years' work experience as a Maximo Business Analyst within the transportation or transit industries. 
  • Advanced proficiency in Maximo configuration, customization, and implementation. 
  • Experience with Maximo system testing, validation, and user training. 
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.  
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365 (e.g., Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) 

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Master's degree in information technology, computer science, or business administration.   
  • IBM Maximo certification. 
  • PMP certification (through PMI). 

Compensation Details 

The salary range listed for this role is $130k-$185k/year ($62-$88/hour). The final salary offered will be based on multiple factors and thoughtfully aligned with each candidates level of experience, breadth of skills, total education achieved, certifications/licenses that have been obtained, geographic location, etc.
