In this critical role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end planning, scheduling, and execution of our complex, electromechanical security system installations worldwide. As a key member of our team, you will ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget, contributing directly to our reputation for providing excellent customer support globally.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for managing projects from inception to completion. This role requires the ability to coordinate effectively with internal teams, external partners, and clients while navigating the challenges of international travel and diverse work environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial planning to final delivery, ensuring all phases are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Act as the primary point of contact, coordinating activities among Viken staff, installation partners, and end customers.
  • Provide direct, on-site support for installation and deployment activities, troubleshooting both electrical and mechanical issues as they arise.
  • Break down large-scale projects into manageable tasks, create detailed schedules, and proactively identify and solve potential roadblocks.
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all project stakeholders, and ensure all project documentation, including feedback and progress reports, is meticulously managed.
  • Monitor and control project budgets to ensure all installations are completed within financial constraints.
  • Conduct regular project meetings (pre-installation, during, and post-completion) to keep teams aligned and on track.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • A proven track record of managing projects involving the installation of complex electromechanical systems.
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally up to 30%-40%.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in challenging environmental conditions (e.g., extreme hot or cold weather) and during extended workdays.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational abilities.
  • Experience with Salesforce is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar qualification.
  • Experience working in the security industry.
