Position Title:Clinic Practice Manager - OP Owensboro Clinic

Location: Owensboro, KY

Description:

The Clinic Practice Manager at RiverValley Behavioral Health is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of all outpatient behavioral health support programs. This role includes managing staff, developing policies, coordinating services, ensuring quality care, and promoting the organization’s mission to provide comprehensive behavioral health services. The Director works collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient service delivery, maintain regulatory compliance, and achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Essential Functions:

  • Lead and manage daily operations of outpatient clinics, ensuring optimal workflow and consumer experience.
  • Oversee staff scheduling, performance management, and professional development.
  • Evaluate practice workflow, including maintenance of compliance reports, to ensure operational excellence.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance clinic efficiency and consumer care.
  • Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
  • Foster a collaborative and positive work environment among clinical and administrative staff.
  • Participate in various department and agency-specific meetings to align clinic goals with organizational objectives.
  • Address consumer concerns and feedback to ensure high satisfaction levels.
  • Actively participate in or lead quality improvement initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet organizational needs.


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred (appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements)
  • Proven experience in healthcare management

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage complex operations, including budgeting, staffing, and program oversight.
  • In-depth knowledge of behavioral health regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
