Description:
Enhanced Veterans Solutions, Inc. (EVS) is seeking a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer to provide expert-level support in planning, designing, and maintaining IT systems and network infrastructure on an upcoming effort. The Senior Network Engineer will serve as a trusted technical advisor, developing strategies that ensure effective management, operations, and maintenance of complex systems.
This role requires extensive experience in analyzing system and network architectures, coordinating with project and program leaders, and identifying strategies to address requirements, risks, and issues. The ideal candidate will be adept at balancing performance, cost, and schedule trade-offs while delivering innovative and efficient solutions.
Develop and implement plans for the effective management, operation, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.
Coordinate with program and project leaders to analyze and optimize IT system and network architecture.
Conduct trade-off analysis of requirements against fiscal, schedule, and performance considerations.
Identify and address risks, requirements, and technical issues quickly and effectively.
Create architectural visions and roadmaps to support evolving organizational and customer needs.
Provide engineering support for hardware and software implementation, test planning, and execution.
Prepare detailed formal technical reports, specifications, and system design documentation.
Perform complex engineering analysis and design tasks, including subsystem design and integration.
Develop standards, best practices, and repeatable processes to enhance system engineering operations.
Support customer projects that may include large-scale Federal Government or defense acquisition programs.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, Social Science, or related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline.
Active Public Trust
Experience:
Minimum 12 years of professional experience in administrative or technical IT/engineering roles.
At least 7 years of direct project engineering support experience.
Specialized experience with manned or unmanned systems project engineering, hardware/software implementation, and testing.
Experience preparing formal technical reports and providing recommendations for complex technical problems.
CCNP Certification
Security+ Certification
Skills:
Strong knowledge of network engineering, systems architecture, and IT infrastructure.
Ability to perform engineering analysis, develop system specifications, and implement tailored solutions.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of project teams on complex technical initiatives.
