Job Title: Audit Management Analyst

Department: Operations – Services

Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Clearance: Secret


Position Summary

The Audit Management Analyst supports the Office of Finance in ensuring that audit policies, procedures, and systems are maintained in accordance with Federal requirements and laws, as well as requirements set forth by Congress, the Office of Management and Budget (OMB), the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the Office of the Inspector General (OIG), and the Department of the Treasury. This role involves serving as a focal point for audit tracking, analysis, and follow-up, and requires strong collaboration, analytical, and communication skills to ensure effective oversight of financial and program performance audits. The performance of this position is key to RavenTek's performance on the contract, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Audit Management and Follow-up Program, including serving as a focal point for the analysis, tracking, and follow-up of audits, evaluations and inspections.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders regarding financial and program performance audits.
  • Prepare and analyze routine audit reports from the Audi tracking system and provide ad hoc reports/reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with Federal audit requirements and internal policies.
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Submit MSRs (Monthly Status Report) as required by manager.
  • Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Critical Skills

  • Strong analytical, oral and written communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant systems (e.g., CACS, Microsoft Office Suite, including Google Sheets and pivot tables).
  • Ability to develop SOPs, policies, and procedures.
  • Ability to work independently, meet strict deadlines, and operate in a fast-paced environment with professional courtesy.
  • Strong teamwork skills and ability to contribute to a positive workplace.
  • Prior experience with USAID OIG and/or GAO audits strongly preferred.

Education & Work Experience

  • Undergraduate degree preferred; however, education may be substituted for specialized audit experience.
  • Work experience with USAID internal audit policies and procedures for managing audit portfolios and audit follow-up process.

Certifications, Licenses

  • Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE) desired.

Work Environment

Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.


Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
