Job Summary:
Must be analytical and have the technical capable of delivering advanced-level one-on-one support-via walk-in, Microsoft Teams, email, and telephone for all desktop applications supported in the PRC. Proficiency is expected in Microsoft Office 365 is required, with additional familiarity in the software listed below:
1. Adobe Creative Cloud: Including, but not limited to, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and Adobe Acrobat DC Pro.
2. SharePoint: Current and future versions of SharePoint Online.
Essential Functions:
• Teach Microsoft 365 classes at all levels (basic to advanced) in both physical classroom settings (up to 12 students) and virtual environments using TEAMS up to 7 times per week.
• Technically knowledgeable and capable of assisting customers with any application updates and/or PRC hardware changes within 15 days.
• Must be proficient in assisting customers with PRC peripherals and hardware such as scanners, laminators, paper folders, binders, CD/DVD duplication tools, removable media, and video capture devices.
• Responsible for maintaining and tracking equipment issued through the customer equipment loaner program. This includes updating the tracking database and ensuring all items (e.g., projectors, digital/video cameras) are functional, accounted for, and securely stored when not in use.
• Troubleshoot and resolve (or recommend solutions for) technical issues related to PRC equipment and systems.
• Create, update, and revise user guides for PRC customers.
• Responsible for researching and recommending new hardware and software solutions to meet evolving customer needs.
• Routinely inspect and test all training room hardware (e.g., participant workstations, Smartboards). Setup for instruction as needed and report unresolved issues to the service desk.
• Technically proficient in setting up and operating the laser engravers to create engravings on various objects, e.g., plaques, cups, coins.
• Knowledgeable of the PRC’s specialty equipment, e.g., Laminators, paper folding machines, engraver, and perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting and repairs when feasible.
• Must perform additional routine support tasks related to the PRC’s operations, as needed.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor Degree in relevant field. Relevant work experience pay offset the educational requirement.
• Certifications and training in Microsoft Office Suite are preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
• Microsoft: Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365 (including specific applications like Teams, SharePoint, Exchange Online), Azure, SQL Server, Power Platform.
• Adobe: Creative Cloud (including specific applications like Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, Acrobat), Adobe Experience manager (AEM).
