Job Title: CyberArk Engineer

Department: Operations – Services

Reports To: RavenTek Program Manager

Location: Remote

Schedule: Monday – Friday

Hours: Full-time, 40-hours/week

FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-exempt

Clearance: Public Trust


Position Summary

The CyberArk Engineer position is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions. This role focuses on privileged access security, user credential management, and security operations to strengthen enterprise security posture. The position plays a key role in ensuring secure, reliable, and innovative IT services. The performance of the CyberArk Engineer position is key to RavenTek's performance on the SEC program, and therefore RavenTek's mission to support the customer.

Requirements:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and support CyberArk solutions to manage privileged accounts.
  • Provide support for Identity and Access Management (IAM), security operations, threat response, and security architecture.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, develop designs, and implement solutions.
  • Support Active Directory, LDAP, PKI, SSO, and multifactor authentication integrations.
  • Develop and maintain scripts for automation and system integration.
  • Assist with change management, testing, and documentation.
  • Support incident response and monitoring activities.
  • Analyze and apply cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidance.
  • Enter actual time worked, once complete, at the end of the day, or no later than 10:00 a.m. the following workday, and submit timesheets at the end of each pay period.
  • Submit MSRs (Monthly Status Report) as required by manager.
  • Monitor RavenTek email on a regular basis, at least 3 times per week, and respond accordingly.
  • Complete required compliance training as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Knowledge and Critical Skills

  • Knowledge of Active Directory or LDAP management, configuration or design, PKI, X509, SSO across multiple domains, 2FA via PIV or CAC and scripting and coding.
  • Experience with requirements, design, integration, testing, and change management.
  • Knowledge of HTTP, XML, REST, JSON.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.

Education & Work Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience with Information Technology (IT), including supporting access management solutions, user privileges management, user credential management, or user security behavior monitoring.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting IAM, security operations and threat response, or security architecture.
  • 2+ years of experience with IAM tool CyberArk.
  • 1+ years of experience with requirements, design, implementation, integration, testing, or change management.

Certifications, Licenses

  • CyberArk Certification preferred.
  • Relevant security certifications (e.g., CISSP, Security+, or similar) preferred.

Special Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Work Environment

Employee will be working indoors in an office environment with other people. Potential moderate temperature fluctuations. Typical indoor and computer related noise level, and typical office, paper, and equipment related dust. Exposure to video display terminals occurs on a regular basis.

Physical Demands

To successfully perform the essential functions of the job, the employee needs to be able to sit at a workstation for extended periods; use hand(s) to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; see to read printed materials and computer screens; mobility to work in a typical office setting. Ability to work on desktop or laptop computer for extended periods of time reading, reviewing/analyzing information, and may be required to provide recommendations, summaries and/or reports in written format. Must be able to effectively communicate with others verbally and in writing. Employee must be able to lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically up to 20 pounds. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
