Overview

Sev1Tech is looking for a Facilities Specialist. The slected candidate will have experince in:

 

Hazwaste and Safety Support:

  • Comply with all 29 CFR 1910, Occupational Safety and Health Standards and EM385-1-1 US Army Corps of Engineers Safety and Health Requirements. The contractor must complete the required training.
  • Maintain Hazardous Waste (HAZWASTE) accumulation site and submit Hazwaste documents to safety officer for processing. The contractor shall complete the required training.
  • Issue appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to government personnel.
  • Develop and process procurement requests for safety materials and/or equipment, as needed and as instructed by Government, including but not limited to maintaining the emergency locker inventory as required by Emergency Action Plan (EAP).

Official Carrier Support:

  • Be a mail courier responsible for dropping off and picking up mail from Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam. The contractor shall complete and maintain annual training requirements.

Facilities Maintenance and Configuration:

  • Track and follow-up on facility repair maintenance requests to Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command (NAVFAC).
  • Conduct fire extinguisher monthly checks throughout Buildings A and B.
  • Retrieve Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) data from Energy Management Control System (EMCS) and provide data to facility manager monthly.
  • Setup and takedown reserved parking and restricted zone signs, as required.
  • Set up, configure and takedown working areas and/or conference rooms, as required.
  • Install, mount or remove whiteboards, posters, picture frames, and other miscellaneous small items as needed.
  • Set up additional lighting throughout the building during electrical/power outages.
  • Set up and remove recyclable items, such as bottles, toners and paper as well as shred disposal bins throughout Building C, Building D, and Building A, as needed and requested.
  • Conduct daily facility checks for maintenance issues, process TF-1 maintenance work orders and notify facility manager of any issues requiring attention.
    Raise and lower United States flag, as required.
  • Maintain recreational areas, such as trash cans, ash trays, gazebos and benches, on a weekly basis, by pressure washing, emptying ash trays and trash disposal.
  • Monitor Bldg. A portable dehumidifier units and empty collection tanks, as needed, to maintain proper operation.
  • Restock printer/copier paper as needed throughout printer machines in building C, E, D and A.
  • Change and replace shredder bags and oil jugs at each paper and media shredder throughout Building C, Building D, and Building A as required.
  • Operate a government owned forklift by a performer possessing a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) license. The contractor shall provide a letter stating specific types of MHE training and that the operator is medically qualified for approval to operate a forklift.


Vehicle Maintenance and Cleaning:

  • Maintain operability and cleaning of government department vehicles, with tasks such as vehicle fuel full, keeping and maintenance vehicles’ interior and exterior clean, schedule and maintain vehicle maintenance and services as required by Navy Facility Hawaii (NAVFACHI).


Responsibilities

  • Must possess a final/active SECRET clearance at the time of proposal submission.
  • Three (3) years of experience in facility maintenance.
  • Twelve (12) months of experience maintaining Hazardous Waste (HAZWASTE) accumulation sites.
  • Twelve (12) months’ experience with TF-1 maintenance work orders.
  • Have a valid driver’s license.
  • Forklift certified and possess a Material Handling Equipment (MHE) License.
