Description
***Must have an active DOD Top Secret or active DOE Q clearance. Active, meaning the individual granted a clearance is briefed and currently occupies a position for which the clearance is required.***
Leidos has an immediate opening for a Senior Project Controls Analyst that has earned value experience to support a National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Modernization Program within the Office of Stockpile Modernization. This individual will lead the development of the NNSA integrated master schedule (NIMS) and also provide programmatic earned value support. The individual will support the Federal Program Manager (FPM), as well as liaise with other Defense Programs (DP) offices, the Department of Defense (DOD), and the Laboratories, Plants, and Sites (LPS). The work performed is extensive in scope and requires an experienced individual with demonstrated project controls expertise, earned value experience, is a self-starter, possess the ability to work in a highly dynamic environment, and capacity to interface with a broad range of federal and military senior staff and leadership.
This is a full-time contractor-support position located on-site at the NNSA offices in Albuquerque, NM.
Project Controls compiles and analyzes the deliverables from the LPSs. Prepares monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, annual, and ad-hoc reports to support the program and program operations. Identifies and delivers data products to the Federal Program Office (FPO) and Federal Program Manager (FPM) to support programmatic deliverables. Works with the FPO to review LPS deliverables and provides feedback on data quality and identifies errors for adjudication on subsequent cycles. A key element is developing and maintaining the NIMS for the FPO from individual site project summaries and detailed schedules. This position requires advanced knowledge in the field of nuclear weapons programs and Primavera/P6 expertise. Additionally, the earned value management (EVM) work includes gathering project performance data, including actual costs, earned value, and planned value and analyzing this data to identify variances and trends. Also includes calculating key EVM metrics such as Cost Variance (CV), Schedule Variance (SV), Cost Performance Index (CPI), and Schedule Performance Index (SPI) as well as forecasting Estimates at Completion (EAC) and Estimates to Complete (ETC) based on current performance and projected future work.
