Overview

JBT Marel Tipper Tie is a worldwide supplier of processing and clip packaging machines. Our product range includes fine cutters for emulsified products and a complete line of clippers from tabletop models to fully automated.

Our organization is currently looking for a Warehouse Shipping Clerk/Picker/Packer to join our team. The Shipping Clerk/Picker/Packer is responsible for: preparing shipments for transport, completing domestic/international shipments using FedEx, UPS and DHL systems, inventory accuracy, receiving shipments, and transporting received packages to designated departments.



Responsibilities

  • Pulls parts and machines for sales orders and completes packing slips ensuring accuracy.
  • Determines best method of packaging, creating, or boxing for shipment.
  • Completes sales order transactions in ERP system and creates shipping labels using computerized postal and shipping programs.
  • Completes the domestic and/or international shipping process in the ERP system and completes the shipping by using FedEx, UPS or DHL. Handles returns and exchanges.
  • Verifies, receives and distributes purchase orders and work orders using MRP system.
  • Ensures that items are properly moved in the ERP system to match physical quantities.
  • Ensures established ISO work instructions are always followed. Participate in ISO audits as requested.
  • Performs cycle counts as required and determines root cause for discrepancies.
  • Performs kitting for machines, clippers, sub-assemblies and stages for the assembly department.
  • Ability to lift items and containers up to 50 lbs
  • Forklift Certification or ability to obtain a certification.
  • Ability to remain standing for extended period.
  • Knowledgeable of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel.


Qualifications

  • High School degree or the equivalent.
  • Must possess the ability to work effectively with others, in an independent production team environment.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Good attention to detail and organization.
  • Minimum of one year of shipping clerk experience.
