Job Summary
The Environmental Quality Management Division is seeking a Hazardous Materials Compliance Manager to develop, implement, and manage programs to comply with regulations pertaining to the procedures required for such materials.
Specifically, the manager will:
- Have oversight of three programs, ensuring compliance and proper documentation is submitted to federal, state, or local agencies
- Manage hazardous building material assessments and abatement projects during renovations and demolitions projects
- Program management of Environmental Site Assessments to evaluate potential environmental risks associated with real estate property transactions
- Manage underground and above ground storage tanks requirements, including oversight of the Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasures plan as well as registration, removal and potential site remediation of UST’s
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Experience in: environmental consulting, government regulatory agency, and/or Phase 1 ESA management. Also, the ability to effectively communicate environmental management concepts.

Prefer Masters Degree with major coursework in engineering, chemistry, environmental science, physical sciences or a field related to the work.
Driver’s license preferred.
