Overview

Sev1Tech is seeking an Integrated Logistics Manager (ILS Manager) to support the Program Executive Office (PEO) Manpower, Logistics, and Business Solutions (MLB) which manages the Logistics (LOG) Information Technology (IT) portfolio. This portfolio is composed of 300+ afloat and ashore IT systems/applications with 150,000+ users across all Naval Systems Commands (SYSCOMs) and Naval Operational Forces (NOF) to include ships, carriers, submarines, USN/USMC aviation squadrons, and Naval Expeditionary Forces. The United States Coast Guard (USCG) is a joint user of LOG IT capabilities and is part of the program requirements. LOG IT enables essential business operations for various capability groups.

 

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

The ILS Manager will be part of the Product Support Team. This person will accomplish the following:

 

Position Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manages and leads overall logistics related activities to include planning, execution, and reporting. Manages capability support planning and life cycle sustainment efforts to include requirements, training, deployment, site implementation, and Organizational Change Management (OCM), to ensure full and proper implementation of solutions across the life cycle of the program.
  • Assist in the development and execution of product support strategies and product support packages involving planning, coordinating, and evaluating the execution of Integrated Product Support (IPS) for acquisition programs, including cloud-based software and hardware.

  • Provide ILS/production support on acquisition logistics management activities, including development of acquisition logistics documentation and evaluating the regulatory requirements to develop, field, and transition equipment / software

    • IMS Development and Management

    • Training Management

    • Technical Manual Development

    • Technical Manual Deficiency Management

    • Product Support Strategy Development

    • Product Implementation

    • Cross-org communication and task management

  • Use your knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of IPS functions for one or more acquisition programs (i.e. maintenance planning; manpower and personnel; supply support: support and test equipment; training and training devices; technical data; computer resources support; and packaging, handling, storage, transportation, and facilities).



Responsibilities

  • Clearance: Must be able to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship; Currently hold Secret level clearance.
  • Bachelors degree in a related discipline.
  • Three (3) years of specialized experience as a Senior Logistician or Product Support Manager for a Federal or DoD enterprise IT program, supporting the integrated logistics life cycle associated with the design, product support, and implementation of IT.
    • Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs)
    • Item Unique Identification (IUID) Plans
    • Materiel Fielding Plan (MFP)
    • Analysis of Product Support Alternatives (APSAs)
    • Failure Reporting, Analysis, and Corrective Action System (FRACAS)
  • Agile software development experience.
  • Self-starter, able to work independently.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
