Compensation: $25.00 - $30.00 / hour

Training Supervisor


The Training Supervisor is responsible for leading and managing employee training and certification programs that drive success in warehouse roles. This position ensures that all team members are equipped with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to meet performance, quality, and safety standards. By overseeing onboarding, ongoing development, and compliance training, the Training Supervisor plays a key role in building a highly skilled workforce, supporting operational excellence, and fostering employee growth.


Key Responsibilities


Essential Functions:
  • Providing direct training to core and temp employees
    • Developing training curriculum, tools and materials
    • Following training curriculum
    • Presenting training materials
    • Training focused on new hires, refresher and skill development
    • Training in classroom and production settings Assessing trainees’ progress and ability to perform in production setting
  • Supervising training activity
    • Assessing effectiveness of training curriculum, tools, and materials
    • Training, preparing and assessing effectiveness of trainers
    • Creating and refining skillset assessment tools
    • Driving continuous improvement of the training program
Secondary Functions:
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and orderly work area
  • Finding and supporting opportunities for improved performance, cost-savings and efficiency
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise


Job Qualifications:
Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
  • Minimum three years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Employee training
    • Production environment
    • Continual improvement projects and initiatives
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak and present in a classroom environment
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Basic user abilities in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work with WMS Software
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
  • Aptitude for project management
  • Aptitude for problem-solving
  • Self-motivated Flexibility in daily hours worked based on workloads
  • Ability to work overtime when required
