Minimum Pay: $180,000 USD

Maximum Pay: $200,000 USD

Description: Responsibilities/Day in the Life Tasks:

  • Review, draft, and help to negotiate agreements and contracts that protect JSX while enabling business growth
  • Advise on contract status, legal risks, and legal liabilities while proposing practical solutions that meet the business needs
  • Partner with executive leadership to provide strategic legal guidance that aligns with JSX's business objectives
  • Coordinate legal representation for JSX with External Counsel as required
  • Conduct legal research and offer practical advice on diverse matters including contracts, property interests, government regulations, airport and FBO lease agreements, marketing and advertising, liquor licensing, consumer and employment laws, and aviation-specific laws and regulations
  • Collaborate across departments to provide solutions-oriented legal guidance that supports business objectives
  • Draft policies with a focus on clarity and practical application

    Required:

    Experience-


  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • 7+ years of experience practicing law with a firm and/or in-house
  • Significant experience with corporate and contracts work


  • Licenses & Certifications-


  • Licensed to practice law in Texas


  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities-


  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to explain complex legal concepts in simple terms and provide actionable business guidance
  • Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively use legal AI tools
