Minimum Pay: $140,000 USD

Maximum Pay: $150,000 USD

Description: Responsibilities/Day in the Life Tasks:

  • Assist with drafting, reviewing, and managing various commercial contracts
  • Support regulatory compliance efforts related to aviation operations
  • Research legal issues across multiple areas, including property interests, government regulations, airport and FBO lease agreements, marketing and advertising, liquor licensing, consumer and employment laws, and aviation-specific laws and regulations
  • Help prepare legal memoranda and guidance for business teams
  • Participate in cross-functional projects to gain broad exposure to the business
  • Assist with tracking regulatory developments relevant to our operations
  • Assist with management of litigation matters
  • Coordinate legal representation for JSX with External Counsel as required
  • Support senior legal team members with day-to-day legal matters
  • Help maintain corporate records and documentation
  • Draft policies with a focus on clarity and practical application

    Required:
    Experience-
  • J.D. degree from an accredited law school
  • 3+ years of experience practicing law with a firm and/or in-house


  • Licenses & Certifications-
  • Licensed to practice law in Texas


  • Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities-
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex legal concepts in simple terms and provide actionable business guidance
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to effectively use legal AI tools
