On a given day, you may:

• Accurate reports are prepared and distributed to the technical service advisor within 2 working days of the sample arriving in the lab.
• Drench samples are analyzed by the end of the day the sample arrives in the lab.
• Standard curves and accuracy checks for residue procedures are completed as scheduled.
• Reagents and standards are stocked and their integrity is carefully maintained.
• Supply levels are regularly monitored, and the need for additional supplies is communicated in a timely manner.
• Any problems with lab equipment or operational issues are promptly communicated.  Assistance is provided to implement solutiond.

Requirements for the role

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a laboratory
• Citrus processing experience or vegetable and other fruit experience
• Computer skills (able to use email, Microsoft Word & Excel)
• Willing to work overtime including weekends as required
• Must be able to read and adhere to procedures and policies.

• COMPENSATION RANGE: $19.00-$20.00 Compensation is determined on experience and skill. This job description is a general description of essential job functions.
