Who You Are:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Analyst to join our Indirect Tax team. This role is responsible for managing indirect tax compliance processes across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate filings and payments. The Senior Analyst will support audits, respond to tax inquiries, and contribute to cross-functional and technology-driven projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, VAT/GST knowledge, and a drive to innovate and enhance compliance and reporting processes.
Our global Finance team provides expertise and access to financial and operational data and insights across seven key functional areas: 1) Accounting and Reporting 2) Tax 3) Financial Planning and Analysis 4) Finance Operations 5) Business Intelligence 6) Treasury and 7) Investor Relations.?Across these functions, the Finance team analyzes and reports on our past financial performance while utilizing that information along with key metrics to help plan for our future business decisions.?
The team collectively provides accurate financial reporting and data to ensure growth, achievement of financial goals, disciplined planning for the future, financial risk mitigation and compliance, and the optimization of the deployment of our capital resources.
Your Next Challenge:
- Prepare and file VAT/GST returns across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring accuracy and full compliance with deadlines and regulations.
- Prepare and process VAT/GST payments in accordance with local tax requirements.
- Monitor and track filing and payment deadlines to guarantee timely submissions and remittances.
- Complete VAT/GST account reconciliations and support Blackline activities to ensure proper tax accounting.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Monitor and research VAT/GST local rules and changes in tax rates and taxability.
- Respond to indirect tax-related inquiries from internal stakeholders and external parties.
- Assist in responding to VAT/GST audits and information requests from tax authorities.
- Collaborate on cross-functional and ad-hoc projects, including tax technology initiatives and system implementations.
- Support the rollout of digital reporting and e-invoicing solutions in line with evolving regulatory requirements.
What You'll Need:
- Minimum 3 years of VAT/GST or indirect tax experience; experience in both public accounting and industry is a plus.
- Comprehensive expertise in indirect tax compliance, including VAT return preparation, tax reporting, and invoicing requirements.
- High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in tax filings and reconciliations.
- Ability to independently interpret and apply VAT/GST legislation to business scenarios.
- Capable of adapting quickly to changing regulations and business needs.
- Familiar with complex general ledger/accounting systems (Oracle or equivalent).
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
The starting salary range for this position at the time of posting is USD $85,500 to USD $114,000 per annum. Getty Images has different ranges in different locations within the US, and this range represents the starting base pay range. Actual compensation will depend on factors including but not limited to: qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, certification, business needs, performance, and level of responsibility along with the requirements of the position.
