The Impact You Will Have

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Corporate Development Analyst at BlueCross BlueShield of MN! You will provide key analytical support for M&A and venture investment transactions and enterprise-wide initiatives of the Corporate Development department. This role will involve developing financial models, conducting industry and market research, and supporting the development of business cases and presentations that inform strategic recommendations for executive leadership. This is a high visibility role, where you will take ownership of developing financial models to help our company initiatives.

This role is hybrid, 2 days a week in office, out of Eagan, MN.


Your Responsibilities


  • Develops financial models for M&A / venture investment opportunities and strategic initiatives
  • Conducts industry, market, and company research
  • Performs acquisition target identification and private / public screening analyses
  • Prepares descriptive business profiles, including profiles on potential acquisition targets
  • Supports team members in the creation of presentation materials for senior management and executive leaders
  • Provides financial, analytical, and project management support for financial and operational due diligence processes


Required Skills and Experiences

  • 5+ years of related professional experience. All relevant experience including work, education, transferable skills, and military experience will be considered.
  • Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • High school diploma (or equivalency) and legal authorization to work in the U.S.


Preferred Skills and Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience working in the health care industry
  • Prior experience in investment banking, equity research, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple deadlines


Compensation and Benefits:

Pay Range: $100,000.00 - $135,000.00 - $170,000.00 Annual

Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position, including skills, ability, and knowledge the selected individual is bringing to the specific job.
