Essential Functions
These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
- Performs secretarial, administrative and receptionist duties for the Chair and Faculty.
- Supports daily departmental operations.
- Coordinates course scheduling with program coordinators.
- Prepares part-time faculty appointment letters and correspondence, course materials, reports, brochures, and other documents using a PC.
- Prepares and processes faculty appointment forms for comp exams, dissertations, and theses.
- Maintains internship agreements, practicum agreements, and memoranda of understanding for the counseling programs.
- Maintains secure departmental files and databases.
- Takes minutes at meetings and prepares for final distribution.
- Answers telephones and directs calls.
- Makes and monitors P-card purchases.
- Coordinates Graduate Faculty appointment applications and GA evaluations.
- Maintains course syllabi and assists with textbook orders.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
- Related duties as required.
