Provider Portal Support Specialist - Military veterans preferred

Under the direction of the Provider Network Operations Manager, the Provider Portal Support Specialist serves as the primary contact for healthcare providers looking for assistance with SFHP's online portal. You will ensure resolution of technical and operational issues related to claims, eligibility, authorizations, and other portal functions. You will support onboarding efforts to improve provider self-service and satisfaction.

Please note that while SFHP supports a hybrid work environment, you are required to be onsite and in-office a minimum of 4 days per month. This is a hybrid position, based in our Downtown San Francisco office.

Salary: $31.25 to $38.00 per hour

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Be a first line of support for all portal-related inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
• Escalate complex issues and coordinate resolutions with different teams.
• Monitor portal usage trends and recurring issues to identify opportunities for system enhancements and improved user experience.
• Maintain centralized resources such as FAQs, user guides, and troubleshooting documentation.
• Support provider onboarding efforts to promote portal adoption and self-service capabilities.
• Track and report portal support metrics, issue resolution timelines, and provider feedback.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or related field; or equivalent work experience
• 2 years of experience in provider services, online portal support, customer services, or healthcare operations required
• Experience supporting or troubleshooting provider-facing systems or portals, including diagnosing technical issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating timely resolution across internal teams.
