POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the accurate, timely, and confidential completion of card and deposit services duties including, maintenance, research for members, staff, and external sources. Responsible for the daily processing of mail. Provides quality service to members and staff of GreenState by providing information, assistance, and/or answering questions.

Pay range for this hourly position is $23.61 - $27.60/hr with a progressive benefits package.
ResponsibilitiesESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs essential duties and responsibilities in the following areas which may include, but are not limited to those listed and are subject to change:
- Adheres to the Credit Union's core values and Service Standards in carrying out GreenState's mission and vision.
- Demonstrates a positive member service (internal and external) focus at all times.
- Adheres to the MUST philosophy by making eye contact, using names or acknowledging presence, smiling, and thanking members for their business. Consistently demonstrates appropriate phone etiquette at all times.
- Demonstrates teamwork in interactions with coworkers and in the completion of all duties and responsibilities.
- Ensures confidentiality of member information.

- Plays a vital role in enriching the community by participating in community service organizations and/or Credit Union sponsored events, on an annual basis.

- Assists CADS staff in the support of all card and deposit operations.
- Processes and balances daily, all incoming mail payments and deposits, scans through Remit, repairs, and posts by established deadlines.
- Monitors and responds timely to member requests via mail and front line.
- Processes, researches, updates, and completes Liberty check rejected orders so that they can be fulfilled.
- Processes daily incoming Verification of Deposit, Date of Death requests, and all incoming return mail items.
- Processes return mail file and processes exceptions manually.
- Processes daily electronic inquiries from Accuity and Social Security Administration, long address report, updates Springboard and Episys.
- Performs file maintenance member accounts.
- Assists in prepping instant issue debit cards for mailing. Works with Servicer 2 to assure any special mailing requests for instant issue debit cards are completed.Â
- Acts as the primary researcher for all member, staff, and external research requests, including, but not limited to, statements, check images and tax document copies. Maintains an accurate accounting of the results of and the time spent on each project and bills member accounts accordingly.
- Maintains familiarity with the Credit Union image retrieval system, check imaging system, and all archival systems.
- Actively identifies, promotes, and evaluates opportunities for innovation and efficiency.
- Develops materials and leads Wednesday departmental training as well as weekly staff meetings.Â
- Performs any and all job duties within the Card and Deposit Services team as necessary.
QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires less than six months of financial institution or related experience.Â
- Knowledge of GreenState processes preferred.
- Good oral communication skills, interpersonal skills, telephone and email manners and etiquette, and the ability to produce written communication.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions, use and understand written material and perform basic math calculations.
- Computer proficiency with the ability to learn relevant computer applications, spreadsheets, word processors, and database applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy.
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to prioritize large volumes of work.
- Ability, availability, and willingness to work flexible hours as dictated by the workload, including occasional weekends.
- Ability to work with minimal direction and exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers.
- Positive attitude, team first focus with an emphasis on providing outstanding member service.
- Reports to work punctually, works all scheduled hours, and works overtime as necessitated by business demand.
- High school diploma or the equivalent (i.e. GED).
- Must be bondable.
