Description:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician with a current C-10 License to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, hands-on experience with electrical systems, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively with contractors, architects, and other team members. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.


Responsibilities:

  • Execute electrical wiring plans, install fixtures, equipment, and troubleshoot malfunctions.
  • Perform general electrical maintenance, inspect components, repair electrical appliances, and document all repairs and services.
  • Maintain electrical building systems in compliance with safety codes and regulations.
  • Monitor and manage parts, materials, and supply inventories, ensuring uninterrupted service within approved levels.
  • Maintain electrical distribution systems, including switchgear, secondary switchgear, distribution panels, transformers, and lighting, in line with testing specifications and facility policies.
  • Support energy management initiatives aimed at utility conservation and document approved system or BAS changes.
  • Respond promptly to emergency situations, including outside of normal working hours, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Current C-10 License required.
  • Ability to interpret and apply blueprints and technical diagrams.
  • Proficiency with testing devices such as ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers.
  • Skilled in the use of both hand and power tools.
  • Strong understanding of state and local building codes and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse teams.
  • Strong written communication skills for documentation and reporting.
  • Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities with a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Physical ability to climb, maneuver in tight spaces, lift up to 50 pounds, and work on ladders or platforms for extended periods.
