Responsibilities

This role is remote but individual must live within the assigned territory (CA). Travel is required. 

 

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team! In this role, you will establish relationships with owners, developers, large general contractors, and design/build firms within a specified territory. If you are passionate about business development and have strong relationship-building skills, we would love to hear from you!

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with target entities (home builders, commercial developers, etc.).
  • Identify and assist with contractor and engineer relationships.
  • Identify projects early to ensure upfront designs/specifications.
  • Develop project-specific business proposals/strategies.
  • Ensure projects are captured in Salesforce and profiles created.
  • Communicate and coordinate with the field team.
  • Utilize tools/resources like Salesforce, Dodge, and cost calculators.
  • Participate in trade organizations and industry events.

  • Strong executive presence and likeable disposition.
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with solid business acumen.
  • Ability to listen, develop a relevant value proposition, and effectively present.
  • Respected leader who can drive action and accountability.
  • 50% travel required.

Compensation Range:

$175,000.00-210,000.00

Individual pay may vary and is determined by work location, shift, and factors such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.  ADS offers competitive compensation, professional development opportunities, and competitive medical and retirement benefit programs.  Your recruiter can share more specific information on the role and location of which you apply.
