inventory manager - Military veterans preferred

Responsibilities

• Responsible in managing warehouse inventory control policies and procedures.


• Achieve zero inventory variance without jeopardizing lean operations.


• Audit on inventory by coordinating with the internal operations teams.


• Achieve operational excellence and deliver cost savings through inventory management.


• Design and manage inventory management systems meeting facility needs.


• Meet customer and company standards on inventory requirements.


• Check routine inventory costs that impact KPIs and communicate outcomes.


• Engage in Process Improvement initiatives


• Establish measured daily, weekly and monthly KPIs though reports.


• Ensure completeness and accuracy of accident investigation and safety communication.


• monitor the near ex and ageing items


• manage the trust receiving team and RTV


• hit the .03 percent shrinkage allowance


• identify improvements to ensure on hand are 100 percent accurate


• send and analyze report .


• mange the DDRS team and the trucker scharges due to delivery variance and damage .

Requirements

• Graduate of Engineering, Finance or relevant field.


• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in similar role preferably from a Supply Chain Industry/


• Solid knowledge of data analysis, planning and inventory control management


• Solid experience in warehouse inventory management system.


• An analytical mind with strong attention to detail.


• Outstanding organizational and problem-solving skills.


• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
