BE THE CEO OF YOUR JOB

As the Director of Facilities, you are responsible for effectively overseeing the functioning of all building systems and works with managers and internal teams to create and maintain property contracts and create further synergies with vendors.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leads a team accountable for the performance and results of a function, industry and/or region.
  • Receives work in the form of objectives and strategically determines how to use resources to meet deadlines and goals.
  • Drives a culture of open communication.
  • Oversees the overall maintenance of a region or consolidated area including commercial office/retail/residential.
  • Oversees the functioning of all building systems.
  • Works with the manager to creates and maintain contracts at each property within the region.
  • Works with the hospitality team to create further synergies with vendors and contracts.
  • Oversees contractors and delivery of services.
  • Carries out functional strategies and specific objectives set by upper management.
  • Ensures that maintenance staff is performing all required tasks in a timely manner.
  • Manages the company's inventory of supplies, materials, and equipment.
  • Manages all aspects of facility operations including purchasing supplies, hiring staff, and overseeing repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinating Facilities events such as concerts, conventions, trade shows, and sporting events
  • Maintaining building safety by carrying out routine inspections/site visits
  • Works with VP of Facilities on creating and maintaining budgets.
  • Identifies areas of potential savings.
  • Responsible for compiling a PCA's (property condition assessments) for buildings within the region.
  • Driving is an essential function.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED


Education

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Experience and/or Training

  • 7-15 years of managerial experience
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and communication skills
  • Ability to bring groups together or work independently
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record

MANDATORY REQUIREMENT

• U.S. Work Authorization
