Position Overview:
The role is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing of financial transactions. This includes handling billing, payment and receipt entries, reconciliations, fixed asset accounting, and vendor/customer code creation while supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Job Purpose:
To ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial transaction processing that supports the organization’s financial health, operational efficiency, and adherence to statutory and internal control requirements.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Billing & Accounting Transactions
  • Prepare and process Blue Dart Aviation Freight International Billing and Clearance Billing.
  • Record bank payment entries, bank receipt entries, cash payment entries, and cash receipt entries.
  • Process purchase entries, sales entries, journal entries, and fixed asset entries.
  • Issue cheque payments as required.
Reconciliation & Reporting
  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Support MIS preparation and reporting in Excel for management review.
Master Data Management
  • Create and maintain vendor codes and customer codes in the system.
Coordination & Follow-ups
  • Follow up with regional offices for pending matters and required documentation.
Compliance & Record Maintenance
  • Maintain proper filing of vouchers, bills, and accounting records for audit readiness.
  • Ensure adherence to internal financial policies and statutory requirements.
Other Responsibilities
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Perform any other work assigned by the reporting manager.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
  • Education: Graduate in Commerce / Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2–4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate environment.
