Shift patterns: Saturday and Sunday, 8am - 4.30pm
Location: Hatfield, AL10 9BD

?A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• To ensure accurate collation of paperwork, including manifests and delivery notes
• To maintain files and records so they remain updated and easily accessible.
• To regular use of e-mail and phone to communicate with vendors, customers and colleagues to solve issues and reply when necessary
• Re-booking of orders or loads which have missed their booking.
• To perform various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the transportation department.
• To communicate any issues, verbal and written to the Coordinator, notifying them of any issues which may require further follow up.
• Prepare and maintain various reports including transportation metrics, performance indicators and compliance documentation
• Facilitate communication and coordination between transport planners, subcontractors, transport depots and other relevant stakeholders
• Responsible for achieving and maintaining KPI SLA agreements.
• Achieving collection and delivery KPIs.
• Ensuring a handover is completed if another person is following you in your department

?THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Transport logistics experience would be desirable
• Strong numerical skills
• Customer relationship/service experience
• Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications
