Description

Leidos is seeking a highly organized and proactive Administrative Assistant to join our Systems Research Program (SRP) team in Greenwood Village, CO. This role supports a dynamic group of 30 professionals—including managers, technical analysts, translators, and editors—who contribute to a specialized national security initiative.

The Administrative Assistant will oversee daily administrative operations for the Greenwood Village site and provide direct support to the Manager of Information Services. This position also requires close collaboration with the Senior Program Manager, Senior Technical Director, and team leads across Production, Facility, Security, Information Management, and Translation to ensure seamless coordination across all program functions.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support for personnel, financial, and infrastructure-related activities.
  • Operate scanning and book de-binding equipment (training provided); upload scans and enter metadata into library software.
  • Collaborate with the Library Manager and Data Entry Specialist to ensure timely and accurate metadata entry.
  • Assist team members and external customers with document searches and navigation within the library system.
  • Coordinate travel planning, authorizations, and expense reporting for technical staff.
  • Manage procurement processes, including purchase orders, invoice payments, and billing.
  • Facilitate onboarding and offboarding of employees in accordance with Leidos procedures.
  • Support customer visits and liaise with government personnel for planning; coordinate catering, room setup, and visitor escorting.
  • Partner with the Facility Manager to address workspace and conference room needs; liaise with building management as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment; request service and order supplies for printers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
  • Serve as the primary mail clerk, ensuring timely sorting and distribution.
  • Maintain office supply inventory, including ordering, receiving, and restocking.
  • Coordinate IT equipment orders, including shipping and handling logistics.
  • Assist with administrative tasks related to government inspections.
  • Escort visitors as required.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus 2–4 years of relevant experience.
  • Solid understanding of administrative principles and practices; ability to work independently and eliminate workflow redundancies.
  • Strong interpersonal and diplomacy skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with travel coordination and expense reporting.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, efficient, and collaborative team player.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and writing skills.
  • Must hold a current Secret security clearance or be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret security clearance within 90 days of selection.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS).
  • Active Secret security clearance.
  • Basic reading proficiency in Chinese.
  • Experience in event planning.
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as Fusion, DELTEK, Workday, and Costpoint.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00
