The Staff Surveyor is responsible for supervising technicians and field crews to successfully deliver large-scale land surveying projects on schedule and in alignment with company quality standards. This role collaborates closely with Project Managers, Project Surveyors, and other teams to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Surveyors, and cross-functional teams to execute project scope and schedules.
Supervise and guide field crews and technicians in completing large-scale land surveying projects.
Serve as the primary client contact when required, including signing and sealing plats, drawings, and other deliverables.
Mentor, train, and support technicians on state survey requirements, QA/QC processes, and best practices.
Contribute to company goals by assisting with additional tasks and strategic initiatives as assigned.
