Essential Functions
These are the job duties required of the position.
Essential Functions
- Maintains specialized equipment in art studios, including but not limited to glass, sculpture, drawing and painting studios.
- Handles chemicals and other specialized materials for use in art studios.
- Ensures all studios are complying with Safety & Environmental regulations, including but not limited to the eye-washing stations and chemical disposal.
- Gives art demonstrations and helps students learn to use specialized equipment and chemicals safely in the studio space.
- Ensures studios are clean and organized for class use.
- Reports any needed repairs, chemicals, safety gear or other products needed to maintain the art studios to the department chair and secretary.
- Regular and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required.
- Related duties as required.
