Overview

We are seeking a Repair coordinator to support our aftermarket repair and upgrade business in our Los Angeles PRO Service Center. Shop located in Vancouver , WA. Building on centuries of pump design experience, PRO Services provides an array of services focuses on reducing equipment total cost of ownership and increasing plant output, including condition monitoring, predictive maintenance contracts, field service, engineered upgrades, inventory management, and overhauls for pumps and other rotating equipment.



Responsibilities

May include:

  • Manage orders & quote equipment Repairs brought in by Sales Engineer
  • Arrange freight for equipment pick up and delivery
  • Enter Orders in ePrism and Vantage
  • Receiving of parts in Vantage
  • Compose repair reports when required
  • Manage job costs to maintain strong margins
  • Manage Power End Exchange Programs
  • Develop customer relationships and B&K
  • Administrative duties as needed
  • Communicate with Facility manager urgent issues or support required
  • Communicate with Sales regarding open quotes and required po’s
  • Participate in production Meetings and maintaining schedules
  • Visit customers with Sales Engineer as needed
  • Travel to LA PRO for regional meetings as required.


Qualifications



Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client group.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in-depth issues with rotating equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret pump drawings.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and properly describe problems and solutions.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Well-developed planning, organization, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to produce clear, timely, and concise documentation and have well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.
  • Proficient in relevant PC skills.

Experience:

Minimal experience with the current Sales Engineer’s ability to guide and train along with the Facility Manager

 

Education:

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
