Regularly sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time with repetitive motions (such as typing); occasionally lifting, pushing, and/or pulling objects up to and over 50lbs; and occasionally standing or walking with objects up to 25lbs
Shift
Nightshift; Three 12-hour shifts per week (Monday – Saturday); 6:00 pm – 6:30 am
Job Summary
The Polysomnography Technician will be responsible for providing sleep monitoring and interventions to all patients. The primary responsibilities include: registering patients; gathering patient pre-study paperwork; preparing patients and equipment for procedures; explain procedures and interactions to patients; complete follow-up notes as needed; perform polysomnography studies and analyze data to assist in obtaining proper diagnosis; entering charges; and cleaning all study equipment. This position will also have some administrative and clerical responsibilities for the daily operations of the department.

Communicate technical information about test results to physicians, family members, or researchers. The ability to work interdependently within a healthcare clinic team.
