Summary

The System Technician is responsible for the assembly, test and general support of large-scale operations. This is an entry level position for someone looking to grow with Viken detection and take on more responsibility as knowledge is gained.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assemble a variety of products from work instructions, and operating procedures under the direct supervision of lead technician.
  • Document worked performed and inspection results.
  • Communicate clearly with co-workers and supervision.
  • As required, assist in the maintenance of material storage and system shipment activities.
  • Maintain clean, organized workspace.
  • Patience working with delicate components.


Requirements:
  • Basic understanding of PC software.
  • Familiarity with common hand tools, such as screw drivers, torque wrenches etc.
  • Experience in production and/or service or similar operations role.
  • Proficient in written and spoken English.
  • Technical school, high school diploma, or higher.
