Overview

Join the leader in providing smarter solutions for a safer world.

We are seeking a highly motivated and versatile professional to support the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of integrated access control and video surveillance systems. This hybrid role blends technical expertise, project management, and sales engineering support, ensuring our clients receive secure, reliable, and innovative security technology solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can communicate effectively with both technical and executive audiences, and takes ownership of delivering successful outcomes. In addition to strong technical and project skills, the role requires an outgoing, personable approach to building relationships with clients and colleagues — representing Kastle with professionalism and authenticity in every interaction.

This position is based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

Responsibilities

Technical Expertise & System Integration

  • Configure, test, and deploy Kastle’s access control platform (panels, readers, etc.), video systems (IP cameras, NVRs, gateways, cloud solutions), and other security devices/solutions (intercoms, doorbells, etc.).
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting, commissioning, and acceptance testing.
  • Perform small on-site installations and arrange and work with subcontractor partners on larger installation work.
  • Collaborating with engineers and vendors to ensure network infrastructure (IP addressing, KVM switches, PoE devices, static/dynamic IPs, etc.) is properly configured.
  • Provide technical guidance for system upgrades, integrations, and compliance requirements.

Project Management

  • Lead multiple projects from planning through execution, ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery, including change orders.
  • Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and COGS tracking.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, operations, techs, client success) and external stakeholders (GCs, building engineers, architects, vendors) for successful project follow through.
  • Oversee wire-pull paths, equipment staging, and field tech tasking.
  • Ensure accurate documentation (drawings, submittals, change orders, as-built updates).

Sales Engineering & Client Support

  • Partner with account executives to develop proposals, BOMs, and CPQ quotes.
  • Conduct technical site surveys, system design consultations, and solution presentations.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, explaining system capabilities and ROI in clear, value-driven terms.
  • Support revenue recognition by validating delivered materials, service readiness, and project milestones.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in electronic security systems (access control, CCTV, low-voltage integration).
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, gateways, static vs. dynamic IPs).
  • Proven experience in project management with ability to track budgets, schedules, and resources.
  • Excellent communication skills – able to translate technical details into client-friendly language.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with an outgoing and personable demeanor that fosters trust and confidence.
  • Proficiency with tools such as Bluebeam, Procore/Building Connected, or similar project platforms.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment.
  • Some overnight travel may be required.
