Overview

We are seeking a Repair Coordinator to support our aftermarket repair and upgrade business in our Corpus Christi PRO Services shop located in Corpus Christi, TX. Building on centuries of pump design experience, PRO Services provides an array of services focuses on reducing equipment total cost of ownership and increasing plant output. The Repair Coordinator will support the shop by producing quotes, procuring drawings from manufacturing divisions, and providing inside sales and manufacturing support for all repair and upgrade work.



Responsibilities

May include:

  • Ensure all assigned quotations are created within timeframe defined by both PRO Service and customer expectations.
  • Produce drawings for parts manufacturing or repair.
  • Ensure all shipments are scheduled to meet customer requirements.
  • Provide customer support and follow ups in conjunction with Sales team.
  • Recommend upgrades and support Sales team with problem solving and solutions for Customers.
  • Responsible for receiving jobs, entering and completing all required data for entry.
  • Provide production and engineering support to Shop.
  • Communicate daily with Facility General Manager on ongoing jobs and quotes.
  • Follow established ISO 9001, ITT EHS, and other guidelines as required.
  • Contribute to facility goals for safety, cost savings, and quality/cost of poor quality (rework).
  • Support Customer needs and hot jobs with occasional after hour and weekend response.


Qualifications



Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with diverse client group.
  • Ability to troubleshoot in-depth issues with rotating equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret pump drawings.
  • Ability to anticipate and solve practical problems and resolve issues.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Ability to effectively communicate ideas and properly describe problems and solutions.
  • Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks, time management, and prioritization skills.
  • Well-developed planning, organization, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to produce clear, timely, and concise documentation and have well-developed problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to apply good judgment, strong work ethic, and integrity on the job.
  • Proficient in relevant PC skills.

Experience: 2-5 years’ experience troubleshooting and repairing rotating equipment

 

Education: 

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Vocational/ Technical Degree preferred
