Job Summary:
The Workforce Development Coordinator is responsible for coordinating employee training initiatives and supporting workforce growth strategies across the organization. In addition to executing training programs, this role manages the company's Next Gen Program — a year-round early talent initiative that attracts, develops, and engages future professionals. This role supports a culture of continuous learning, skill development, and talent pipeline growth.
Essential Functions:
Employee Training & Development
  • Collaborates with site HR Managers to ensure adherence to annual training compliance requirements.
  • Coordinates and assists in the scheduling of employee training sessions, workshops, and other learning initiatives.
  • Maintains training calendars, materials, attendance tracking, and compliance reporting.
  • Supports the implementation and administration of learning tools and systems (e.g., LMS).
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization to identify training needs.
  • Collect and analyze feedback to improve training effectiveness and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with required learning, including onboarding and regulatory training.
Next Gen Program (Early Talent Development)
  • Lead the full-cycle coordination of the Next Gen Program, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, and offboarding.
  • Plan and execute orientation, professional development sessions, and networking events for Next Gen participants.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Next Gen participants and their managers.
  • Track participant progress, collect feedback, and support post-program conversion.
  • Build and maintain relationships with universities, colleges, and external talent partners.
  • Promote the program internally and externally to enhance brand awareness and participation.
Supervisory Responsibility:
Position has no direct supervisory responsibilities at this time.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience with training platforms (LMS), HRIS, or ATS systems is a plus.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Passion for employee growth and early-career talent development.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
  • 2+ years of experience in HR, learning & development, or program coordination.
Background Prerequisites:
  • Must undergo and meet company standards for background check, employment verification, reference checks and controlled substance testing.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting or managing internship/early talent programs.
  • Knowledge of workforce development and learning best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data tracking tools (e.g., Excel, reporting dashboards).
