We’re looking for a Marketing Events Intern for our office in Alpharetta, GA. This position is part-time. You’ll join an awesome team to support our growing customer base.

About the Role
As a Marketing Events Intern, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of Aptean’s participation in trade show events as well as customer-led events and internal company events, including our global Sales Kick-Off event. This part-time internship in our Alpharetta office will not only provide deep insight into how our Marketing team supports our global business, but also allow you to gain hands-on experience in event marketing and project coordination within a fast-paced, global setting. If you have strong critical thinking skills, excellent communication skills, and are willing to learn, this is the perfect internship for you!

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Coordination: Assist with the logistical planning and execution of Aptean events, including venue arrangements, vendor management, and on-site coordination.
• Marketing Support: Help develop and execute Aptean sponsorship and exhibits at industry trade shows and events.
• Data Management: Support the creation and maintenance of event registration systems, track attendee information, and ensure accurate data entry.
• Communication: Act as a point of contact for internal teams and external vendors, ensuring clear and timely communication throughout the event planning process.
• Administrative Tasks: Assist with general administrative duties, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing event-related documentation.

About you:

• Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); familiarity with event management software is a plus.
• Experience: Prior experience in event planning or marketing is preferred but not required. A passion for event coordination and a willingness to learn is essential!
• Attributes: Ability to work independently and as part of a team; proactive, adaptable, and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; positive attitude and strong work ethic.
