We are currently seeking a General Maintenance Worker (GMW) to join our team in support of a large government facility located in Arlington, VA.

Monday - Friday 1st shift

Responsibilities

The General Maintenance Worker performs general maintenance and repair of equipment and buildings requiring practical skill and knowledge in such trades as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.

Responsible for all general maintenance, upkeep, and repair of all mechanical systems
Performs general maintenance and repair of the building
Replace electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors
Place or remove systems and equipment as directed
Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum of five (5) years general maintenance experience
Must be certified Libert or Stulz CRAC units to include DDC controls or obtain within 6 months
Experience in carpentry, light electrical, light plumbing, painting, and mechanical buildings systems
Must pass background check
