We are looking for a Clinical Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our rapidly growing company. The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced individual who is hard-working, with the ability to excel in a fast-paced government contractor environment, and who has a positive energetic attitude. The position location is remote role (Ability to travel up to 70%)

OVERVIEW

The Technical SME provides expert provides guidance in hands on and remote support during pre-deployment operations across multiple sites. This role ensures seamless identification and preparedness of systems integration, Escalated and resolves complex technical issues in real time, and coordinates with on-site teams to prepare for operational readiness and performance standards.

Support the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Electronic Health Record Modernization Integration Office (EHRM-IO) program as a Clinical Subject Matter Expert (SME).

The Technical SME will:

  • Serves as the primary technical subject matter expert during pre-deployment.

  • Collaborates with cross functional teams to align pre-deployment activities with operational goals and maintains technical documentation

  • Provides feedback to improve deployment processes.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional work experience

  • Ability to travel up to 70%

  • Plans, designs, and oversees deployment of complex enterprise-wide or large scale information architectures including computer hardware and software, operating systems, middleware, communications hardware and software, and security components.

  • Ensures these systems are compatible and in compliance with the standards for open systems architectures as they apply to the implementation and specification of complex information management solutions.

  • Identifies necessary interfaces between enterprise solution applications and legacy IT environments.

  • Supports all program/project planning and milestone development.

  • Supports business case analysis and identification of alternative solutions and resulting business impacts.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with the Department of Veterans Affairs

  • Experience implementing Electronic Health Records

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field is required, or an additional 8 years of experience may be substituted for degree requirements
