Monday-Friday; 8:00 am to 5:00 pm; and occasional evenings and weekends.
Job Summary
The Alam Lab is seeking a Laboratory Technician. This individual will perform routine scientific tasks under close supervision or from detailed and controlled lab procedures, including PCR and Western blot analysis. Gathers scientific data and provides research data to investigator. Organize and maintain records according to established procedures. Perform routine analysis.

Photocopying, handling phone calls and general duties to provide upkeep for lab facility. Assist in monitoring inventory of lab supplies. Purchase, organize and maintain supplies necessary for the conduct of research studies. Keep lab clean and organized
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Experience in PCR and Western blot analysis
