The Al-bataineh Lab at the University of Pittsburgh's Renal-Electrolyte Division is seeking a highly motivated TEMP Research Technician to provide research support in a urinary tract system-focused laboratory.

The technician’s role will be to support the lab and assist in the execution of a variety of laboratory experiments and procedures. Primary tasks will include general lab maintenance, conducting laboratory experiments, involving skills such as molecular biology techniques: western blotting, PCR, ELISA, and cell culture. The technician will also assist with animal colony maintenance, tissue harvests, and histological sample preparation and staining. The ideal candidate should have knowledge of basic laboratory skills and must be able to work independently on tasks.


A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position and a Bachelor's degree is Preferred.
