The Pandrea lab is looking for a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate with strong training in HIV/SIV pathogenetis. They will be expected to perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative and judgement. Incumbent will work directly with Dr. Ivona Pandrea and will conduct innovative research in the field of HIV/SIV with a focus on mucosal immunology and metaolic abnormalities related to retroviral infections.

Requirements:

• Holds a PhD in Immunology, Pathology & Infectious Disease

• Has a record of published research; strong methodological background

• Well-developed communication skills both written and oral

• Self motivated and be able to work independently and under pressure

• Experience with HIV/SIV research

• A team player and be able to have a flexible schedule

• Demonstrate evidence of organizational skills and attention to detail
