Position Overview: DHL Supply Chain France, with 2,000 employees, is a world leader in logistics, and we are recruiting a Senior Business Development professional for our headquarters located in La Plaine Saint Denis. Reporting to the Marketing & Business Development Director for France, you will be responsible for supporting the team in prospecting targeted clients and promoting logistics products and solutions within the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather and analyze customer data to identify opportunities.
  • Promote logistics solutions to targeted clients.
  • Manage responses to requests for proposals (RFPs) in both French and English.
  • Collaborate with the design office on RFP responses.
  • Coordinate responses with central teams (IT, HR, Finance, etc.).
  • Support client RFPs to ensure successful outcomes.

Profile:

  • Master’s degree (Bac +5) in Business School or Logistics with a focus on commerce.
  • A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in supply chain management, particularly with logistics service providers.
  • Proven commercial experience engaging with decision-makers in various business environments and sizes.
  • Proactive and autonomous, with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, especially related to order logistics.
  • Previous experience in the aerospace, automotive, or industrial sectors, or any knowledge of the logistics industry, would be a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with strong listening and analytical abilities.
  • Fluent in English (both written and oral communication in French and English is required).

Work Location: La Plaine Saint Denis (93), with travel throughout France for 30% of the time.
