In this position, the selected candidate will lead missile integration test failure investigations in a fast-paced production environment. Missile integration tests are among electronics packages and Systems so electrical Engineering and integration knowledge and skill are required. Candidate will have understanding of Systems Engineering principles and failure investigation processes. Candidate will engage with subsystem and package CPEs, system integration engineers, special test equipment engineers, quality engineers and factory personnel to drive investigations to closure.

This position requires a government security clearance and only candidates with US Citizenship will be considered.

*** Please note: This position is contingent on contract award and funding which is anticipated Spring/Summer 2018. ***

Basic Qualifications
*Demonstrated technical depth and breadth in Systems Engineering and/or complete knowledge of troubleshooting/root cause approaches, tools and analytical methods. Practical experience working with electrical laboratory equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, Break-out-Boxes) and/or Special Test Equipment (automated acceptance test equipment).
*Experience in the development of analog, digital and/or mixed signal circuit design for missile, spacecraft or aircraft avionics electronics.
*Demonstrated commitment to development and/or deployment of productivity improvements and leveraging new technologies
*Experience interfacing with leadership at the Senior Manager level or higher
*Must be willing to travel as business need requires - approximately 25% travel
*US Citizenship and the ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance

Desired skills
*Automated test management software (such as Test Stand, Test Studio or Matlab)
*Experience in all phases of development life cycle for missile and/or launch vehicle programs
*Experience supporting production of missile, launch vehicle, spacecraft or aircraft hardware
*Experience with electrical Engineering simulation tools (e.g., SPICE).
*Experience as Certified Principal Engineer (CPE) or equivalent design lead responsibilities for missile, launch vehicle, spacecraft or aircraft product(s)
*Experience leading rigorous failure analysis via formal failure review boards
*Familiarity with configuration control and quality control tools and Systems (e.g. EPDM, Q-notes, VRICs)
*Experience working with remote field sites
*Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical issues to peers, management and customers.
*Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering
